2025 was a year of many achievements! We began the year by strengthening our presence in Altamira/PA, consolidating the work of our headquarters. Throughout the months, we saw projects take shape, such as Ipá-Supá, which flourished from its early steps to the construction of its new space, reaffirming the power of traditional medicine.
We also advanced in the protection of the Territory: participating in expeditions, cleaning streams and trails, engaging in important meetings with partners, drilling a well, and fostering dialogues that brought people together and improved quality of life. Moments such as the workshops on medicinal plant identification and the revitalization of the Xipái Language rekindled ancestral knowledge and further united our community.
We close 2025 with gratitude for every supporter and partner who made each action possible! We know that walking together takes us further and makes everything easier, and we are excited for the year to come, knowing that Instituto Juma remains strong in its purpose of valuing culture, nature, and the autonomy of the peoples.
